Enforcing the Fence Ordinance is a Money Grab

Enforcing the decades-unenforced fence ordinance is a money grab.
With, 30-40 yeas of minimal problems, only a bureaucrat could unashamedly maintain that the surge in enforcement is a public health and safety necessity.

To top it off, we are told that grandfathering is out because the fence ordinance is a "Police Ordinance" which does not permit grandfathering.

Ordinances are forever being amended or repealed.
The often used "past practice" concept easily applies here. Lack of enforcement for decades can be used to justify amending or repealing the long-unused fence ordinance.
