Citizen Public Safety / School Forum

CAST is a group of Royal Oak Citizans who are striving to engage/reengage our residents in our political system by bringing information to city voters to encourage informed decisions. Our goals are directed at holding our elected officials Accountable, work to achieve the cities Sustainability,and reach higher levels of Transparency. The forum will be facilated by Bill Shaw, R.O. activist and Dr. Shawn Lewis-Lakin, R.O. Schools Superintendentntendent.

Planned Topics to be discussed are:

1. Where we are, how we got here, where are we going.

2. Public and Private sectors, state laws and R.O. costs.

3. R.O. legacy costs. What are the "Real Costs?"

4. Millage proposals City and Schools - General/Dedicated.

5. State ballot proposals and impact on Royal Oak.
