Lily's Hosts Chef Show, Solicits Donations for the Needy

Lily's Seafood Grill & Brewery in Royal Oak will be hosting a "Dining in the D" Episode 4 premiere screening on Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m.

"Dining in the D," hosted by Chef Tom Keshishian of the Berkley Bistro and Café, takes viewers from the front of the house and into the kitchens of some of the Detroit area's best independently owned restaurants. Episode 4 features Lily's, Berkley Bistro & Café in Berkley, The Royal Eagle in Harper Woods, and Woodbridge Pub in Detroit.

"I'm excited to return to Lily's on the night their segment debuts on 'Dining in the D' and to personally greet their customers and fans of the show," Keshishian said.

"Dining in the D" is broadcast on CMNtv/Channel 18 in 11 communities in Oakland County on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. Segments of each restaurant featured on "Dining in the D" are also available for viewing on its website, http://dininginthed.com.

Restaurants are featured on "Dining in the D" for their excellence in quality of food, innovative menus, service and atmosphere.

Lily's is asking those attending the screening to donate $5 to buy a patch to help it reach its goal of making 75 hand-tied, no-sew blankets for kids at Children's Hospital of Michigan this holiday season.

Lily's is located at 410 S. Washington in Royal Oak.
