Spend a lazy day with a good book in the great outdoors compliments of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Library of Michigan.
Beginning April 1, Royal Oak Public Library cardholders may check out a free Park & Read Pass - good for one day - to Michigan’s 101 picturesque state parks, recreation areas and 11 museum or historic sites in the Michigan Museum system including the Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing. Passes are valid for seven days from checkout (valid for day use only). The program runs through October 1, 2012.
