This is the 5th annual Thrill The World dance, hosted in Royal Oak by Dr. Laura Vanloon of Van Every Family Chiropractic Center!
It's a fun way to honor Michael Jackson, raise money for charity, get into the Guinness Book of World Records and a great excuse to dress up like a zombie!
I will be hosting an event in our parking lot on Saturday, October 29th. Our address is 4203 Rochester Road, Royal Oak, MI! You should arrive at 8 am to sign your registration form and practice a bit; the dance officially starts promptly at 9 am and anyone not dancing with us at that time will not be counted toward the record! ;)
While there is no cost to dance with us (I covered the minimal registration fee), I would love any small donation you are interested in making, to be given to a local charity. A dollar, five dollars, ten, whatever you are able to spare. If you don't care to donate, you are still welcome and encouraged to come dance with us!
The dance itself is only about 6 minutes long but in order for our dance to count toward the Record, it must be danced in the specific version that was formulated for this event (i.e., not the video version). There are 40 videos on Youtube that completely break the dance down, and they are actually easy to follow.
I will also be teaching lessons several evenings this week; for those of you who would like to join me, please email me at ttwroyaloak@gmail.com for information.
