Drag Queen Bingo Moves to a New Square
Five15 will be attached to Pronto Restaurant.

(Originally published on Dec. 15, 2016) ROYAL OAK, MI — Five15 cafe on Washington Avenue, known for its entertaining and popular Drag Queen Bingo nights, is about to move to a new square, a vacant corner store attached to Pronto restaurant, where it will operate under the restaurant’s liquor license, The Daily Tribune reports.
Five 15 owner Gary Baglio hopes to make the move to Pronto by March or April of 2017. His business operates as a coffee, book and gift shop during the day.
“I want to turn it into a nice cabaret,” he told The Daily Tribune.

He thinks moving to a space with a liquor license will be a hit on Drag Queen Bingo nights, which he has offered since shortly after opening for business in 2007. The events have been regular sell-outs since.
The city approved a change in the terms of Pronto's liquor license to accommodate the need of Five 15.
