FREE Workshop for Job Seekers: Taking Your Job Search by Storm
JVS and the Southfield Public Library offer a free workshop for job seekers with a nationally known expert on September 15.
Job seekers are invited to a free workshop learn from a nationally recognized expert how to weather the job search process by using the five Ps – be prepared, persistent, patient, positive and prudent.
Join Abby Kohut – known as Absolutely Abby – to learn the steps to launch a successful job search on Thursday, September 15, from 10 a.m. – noon at the Southfield Public Library Auditorium, 26300 Evergreen Rd., Southfield. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
Kohut is an author and expert on effective job search strategies. She is president of Staffing Symphony, LLC and author of “Absolutely Abby’s 101 Job Search Secrets.” She has held corporate recruiting positions in a variety of industries and is responsible for helping 10,000 people get hired.
