Great CITCOM meeting

They covered everything from agreeing to work with bringing a new high-tech firm into town, even if that means losing the Barnes & Noble store, to resolving a couple of contentious Traffic Committee recommendations. I stopped watching after noticing:

  • Usually quiet Kyle DuBuc and Peggy Goodwin were vigorously articulate several times.

  • Newly elected Jeremy Marhle participated about several items, at length.

  • Newly elected Sharlan Douglas chose to be mostly an observer for the night.

  • Jim Ellison left the table during one discussion. David Poulton stepped in smoothly to chair the meeting.

    • Even proposed changes in the Plan of Operation for four bars/restaurants moved along without the barbs that were tossed frequently about such requests in the past.

Synopsis minutes from the meeting show that an effort to repeal a portion of the troublesome Fence Ordinance failed.
