HopCat To Bring Crack Fries to Royal Oak: Report
The restaurant chain is hiring 130 workers for its new bar and eatery, set to open May 20.

ROYAL OAK, MI — HopCat, the craft beer chain, is bringing its crack fries to a new location in Royal Oak, set to open on May 20, according to a media report.
The bar and restaurant is setting up operations in an 11,700-square-foot location at 208 W. Fifth, the Detroit News reported. It will have a rooftop deck and a private dining area for special events.
HopCat has around 100 craft beers on the menu, but it's best known for its beer-battered crack fries, with savory seasonings. When the new spot opens, HopCat will give away baskets of crack fries, and the first 200 customers will get a coupon good for a free order of crack fries each week for a year, the Detroit News reported.
