Horns & Howls XIII: A Twisted Tale - Oct. 27, 2013

Metro Detroit's Motor City Brass Band (MCBB) announces its 18th annual series with four concerts at the Michael A. Guido Theatre in the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. With dazzling set design and extraordinary showmanship, MCBB produces concerts that are energetic, fun for the whole family, and which present the best of the brass band genre.

The full season of brass music will begin on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 3 p.m. with Horns & Howls XIII: A Twisted Tale, a spooky and fun concert to kick off the Halloween season. Audience members are encouraged to get in the spirit by dressing up in costume and competing in the annual costume contest. The concert will feature guest artists Stacey Mason and Richard Fidge. Mason, a professional violinist and vocalist will, along with Fidge’s deep and gritty voice, perform the classic favorite “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. To really get into the spirit of the holiday, Mason will join MCBB for a performance of the eerie and frightening music from the famous “Shower Scene” of Hitchcock’s Psycho.

Saason subscriptions are $42 for adults, $36 for seniors, and $30 for students (21 and under). Each subscription comes with 4 Bring-a-Friend vouchers.
