Man Robs Royal Oak Dry Cleaners While Armed, Robber Flees: Police
Royal Oak Police said a man approached an employee at the Martinizing Dry Cleaners and demanded money from the employee.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Police were searching for a man they said robbed a dry cleaners store Friday morning in Royal Oak while armed with a weapon.
Police said the robber approached an employee at the Martinizing Dry Cleaners store located at 1015 S. Main St. at 7:14 a.m. and demanded money from the employee while threatening he was armed with a weapon, police said.
The robber then ran away from the store, and Royal Oak police brought in K-9 officers to help with the search, officials said. He was last seen running southbound on Main Street in Royal Oak.

There were no injuries reported by officials in the robbery.
Police described the robber as a black man, about 6-feet tall and weighed about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, a black and grey hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, black face mask and black boots, police said.

While the investigation continues, anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the robber was asked to call Royal Oak Police Lieutenant Al Carter at 248-246-3456.
