Man Shot Dead At Oakland County Restaurant: Police

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — A Detroit man was fatally shot Tuesday morning at a restaurant in Madison Heights, police said.

The 36-year-old man from Detroit was shot dead at 12:10 a.m. at the 168 Crab restaurant on John R and 14 Mile roads.

Police said a family member took the man to a nearby hospital where he later died. Police did not release the victim's name, but believe he was targeted in the shooting.

Police have not released a description of the shooter, but said it was a man who was last seen driving a dark-colored SUV.
