This month the reception for the show at the Lawrence Street Gallery will be on Thursday from 6 until 9 instead of on Friday. It’s a lot to remember but well worth it to see the artists as well as the art.
The show is called EMBRACING: 40 YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP & ART. The artists are Nora Chapa Mendoza, Barbara Barefield & Spencer Barefield. Nora and Barbara have been friends for 40 years linked by art, music and joy. Spencer is Barbara’s son who is well on his way to a career in art, as well.
You’ll want to be sure to see this show because like Hailey’s comet, it will not be in your line of sight for very long. And it won’t appear again soon.
