Motorcyclist Hit By Van, Killed In Royal Oak
The driver of the van made a turn from Woodward onto Northwood, striking the motorcyclist and killing him.
ROYAL OAK, MI -- A 57-year-old man is dead after a crash involving a van and a motorcycle in Royal Oak on Tuesday night. The fatal crash happened on Woodward Avenue near 12 Mile Road.
The man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Woodward when the driver of the van turned onto Northwood Boulevard, hitting the motorcycle.
The identity of the deceased man has not been release, pending notification of his family.
