Oak Park Man Arrested For Speeding, DUI After Car Runs Out Of Gas
Police said the man was speeding over 150 mph in a white Dodge Charger Hellcat before running out of gas on Greenfield Road near I-696.
ROYAL OAK, MI — A 29-year-old Oak Park man was arrested Monday morning for reckless and drunk driving, after his car ran out of gas, Michigan State Police said.
Officials said the man was speeding over 150 mph in a white Dodge Charger Hellcat on I-696 near I-75 at 2:15 a.m. Monday morning in the City of Royal Oak, before loosing sight of him.
However, minutes later, police located the car on Greenfield Road near I-696 being pushed off the roadway into a parking lot, officials said.

After investigating, police determined the car ran out of gas in the middle of the roadway.
