Oakland County Man Arrested After Pistol Whipping Woman: Police
As the two were arguing, the man hit the woman in the head with a gun and then fired shots at her as she ran away, police said.
ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, MI — A Royal Oak Township man was arrested Saturday after state police said he pistol-whipped his ex-girlfriend and fired shots at her during an argument.
State troopers said the ex-boyfriend attacked the woman in a car near Majestic Avenue near Cloverdale Street, near Eight Mile and Rosewood Street in Royal Oak Township at 10:45 Saturday night.
As the two were arguing, the man hit the woman in the head with a gun and then fired shots at her as she exited the car and ran away, police said. The woman was not struck by shots, but was injured after being hit in the head by the gun.

The woman described the man to state police, who then arrested him peacefully at his home in Royal Oak Township, police said. The suspect was placed in the Oakland County Jail, as the investigation continues, officials said.
