“Having a place people can turn to for mental health support is essential to meet the needs of
our community.” says OCHN’s Executive Director and CEO Dana Lasenby. “The extended hours
of operations promote flexibility and accessibility for Oakland County residents and families to
receive quality care when it is most convenient for them.”
Services provided by OCHN’s Access team include determination of eligibility, mental health
screening, and care coordination. OCHN’s screening process determines where and how an
individual or family’s needs can be met, based on medical necessity, as well as severity and
urgency of the situation. This process also applies to persons living with an intellectual or
developmental disability and individuals who have a substance use disorder.
