Plan Now for Santa's Arrival, Tree Lighting

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony also includes the Holiday Magic Marketplace.

Royal Oak’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, outside the Royal Oak Farmers Market, 316 E 11 Mile Road.

The flip will be switched on the lights at 7 p.m., but you’ll want to have the kids there by 6:15 p.m., because that’s when Santa arrives.

The evening includes caroling and free hot dogs, hot chocolate and coffee.

Also on Dec. 3, the Farmers Market will host the Holiday Magic Marketplace, featuring more than 60 local artisans and crafters from 4 to 9 p.m.
