Poesy Offers Tricks & Treats For Its Halloween Hootenanny Oct. 24

The Poesy gift gallery in Royal Oak is carving out time after hours to host a Halloween-themed event surrounding its 7th anniversary in business that is certain to be a howling, grown up good time.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, Poesy’s Halloween Hootenanny welcomes customers to browse and shop its array of creative works and galore of gifts, while taking advantage of many special offerings and discounts on Halloween merchandise, which includes ornate glass pumpkins made by glassblowers from five different states, witch hats, scented candles, spooky-themed soaps and festive fall décor. Customers also can enjoy killer beats performed by live musicians and plenty of spooktacular treats.

Known for its cool, handmade items and functional art from local and national artists, plus free gift wrapping with all purchases, Poesy will be packed to the brim with Halloween fun. Complimentary tarot card readings will be offered to the first 20 customers who purchase $50 or more that evening, courtesy of Kim Van Dyke. Customers also can receive henna tattoos (with store purchase) or walk away with a gift bag containing Halloween-themed items ranging in value up to $40.
