Rats! Royal Oak Students' Video Tells You How to Control Them

ROYAL OAK, MI — Rats! Royal Oak is waging a war on rats — and winning, the city says — and they got some help from some local high school students with a delightful yet informative video on rat control.

The video, produced and directed by and starring Royal Oak High School teacher Mike Conrad’s video and film students, describes the types of rats and mice residents might found, as well as control methods.

The video directs viewers to the city’s website, where there’s a plethora of information about what to do about rat infestations.

“Rats behave predictably,” the city said.

The tips include everything from good housekeeping practices to learning how to recognize rat runways and other signs of an infestation.
