Rock Legends Opening New Restaurant/Concert Bar In Metro Detroit
A pair of rock and roll legends who helped dub "Detroit Rock City" are bringing their concert bar/restaurant to Oakland County.
ROYAL OAK, MI — A pair of rock and roll legends who helped dub "Detroit Rock City" are bringing their concert bar/restaurant to Oakland County.
KISS bandmates, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, are bringing Rock and Brews restaurant and bar to downtown Royal Oak. The restaurant is expected to open at 208 West Fifth Avenue sometime in March.
The concept will feature three floors: level one is the main dining area; level two is a live concert stage and bar and level three is an open-air rooftop Sky Lounge with a DJ.

"We’re excited to bring a Rock & Brews Restaurant and Concert Bar to Detroit Rock City," said Stanley and Simmons in a joint statement. "We’ve all worked hard collaborating as a team to create Rock & Brews destinations we could be proud to share with the community, and that is without a doubt what we will do for our newest location in Royal Oak."
The menu will feature American classic, such as burgers, wings and pizza, as well as local and craft beers on tap.

"Partnering with the legendary Paul and Gene, we are focused on delivering a proven concept that blends high-quality food, standout drinks, and an atmosphere rooted in great music," said Tony Yezbick, co-owner of Rock & Brews with his brother Danny along with other private investors. "Royal Oak has an energy and character that aligns perfectly with what Rock & Brews stands for."
Rock and Brews currently has 18 locations across the nation, with spots in California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.
