ROHS Soccer Star Signs Letter of Intent
Royal Oak's Tara Swanson signs on to continue her soccer career post-high school.
A Royal Oak High School senior signed a letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to play college soccer during the upcoming school year.
Tara Swanson has signed with the Indiana Tech women's soccer team in Fort Wayne, IN.
"Basically she's promising to get to class, get the grades and follow all the rules the institution has," said Indiana Tech Women's Soccer Coach Jim Lipocky.

Indian Tech is a member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, which includes Madonna University, Concordia University, Marygrove College and the University of Michigan, Dearborn among others.
Swanson, who plans to study sports management, said after checking out Indiana Tech's curriculum and attending one of the school's summer camps, she made up her mind to be a Warrior.

The soccer star is currently coached by Kevin Robb. She was joined at the signing by members of the Ravens girls soccer team.
