Royal oak Community farm, where has it gone?

A few years back there was something called the Royal oak community farm. I didn't have much time to join or take part in it, but now I do and it seems they are no longer around. Can anyone tell me what happened to them? It was a wonderful idea. Did it just fall through. Were there not enough volunteers? Did the city commission decide that it was not something they wanted in the city for god only knows what lame excuse they could muster? Did they lack funding? I see the site they once had now will have a development on it.
