Yea, I can still remember when 55 mph was the law of the land when I first got my license. I can also remember the last few years of football, not too many winning seasons. But after yesterdays victory over North Farmington giving us a 5 – 1 record in our division I am starting to feel the power. My enthusiasm is at about 555 mph and accelerating.

Even at the age of 55 or there abouts I am finding a new joy watching a vibrant bunch of guys come together and reach for the stars. This is not just about me or the boys pictured in their jerseys, it’s about those Friday nights that all of us in the freshman football program are looking forward to.

So for all of you and all of our guys lets raise our hand in success and reach for each other and lets all give up the high- five we deserve.
