Royal Oak High School Students Screen Videos, Indie Films
Event at Emagine Theater "best of the best" showcase of students' projects.

ROYAL OAK, MI – More than 20 Royal Oak High School student videos and independent film projects will be screened at an annual event at the Emagine Theater on Sunday.

Admission is free to the 2 p.m. screening at the theater, 200 N. Main St. in Royal Oak.

“With many of these student projects recognized by C-SPAN, the Orchard Lake Film Festival and the Michigan Student Film Festival, this is truly a showcase of the ‘best of the best’ that our students have to offer,” teacher Michael Conrad said in a statement.
The projects include independent short films, ROHS documentaries, news features, public service announcements, and PBS News Hour student reporting lab investigative news reports.
