Is There Still Time to Get Fall Leaves Picked Up in Royal Oak?
Snow is forecast for Thursday so crews may try to work ahead.
ROYAL OAK, MI — The City of Royal Oak is reporting that as of Tuesday, Dec. 6, leaf collection crews are on schedule Tuesday, Dec. 6, and plan to work ahead of schedule, if possible, through the remainder of this week. The forecast calls for snow on Thursday, which may slow things down a bit toward the end of the week.
The last day of leaf collection is technically Dec. 9. If weather permits, a third pass will be attempted but there are no guarantees.
If you live in an area marked with "blue" on the map and still have leaves, please bag your remaining leaves. Bagged leaves may be placed curbside on your normal trash day through the week of Dec. 12.
