Royal Oak Police, FBI Seeking Bank Robbery Suspect
Suspect passed not to TCF Bank teller demanding cash and implying he was armed just after noon Monday, Royal Oak police said.
ROYAL OAK, MI — A man who held up the Royal Oak branch of the TCF Bank remained at large Monday evening, but police have circulated surveillance photos and asked the public's help in identifying him.
The FBI is assisting the Royal Oak Police Department's Criminal Investigation in the investigation of the robbery of the bank, located at 1811 Crooks.
The suspect walked in about 12:03 p.m., passed the teller a note demanding money and implied he was armed, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said in a statement. The suspect was last seen running on foot on Pleasant Street.

Police established a perimeter and began searching for the suspect with the assistance of the Southfield Police Department's K-9 unit. Police think he likely escaped in a vehicle parked on Pleasant Street.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s or 30s, standing approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build. He has short brown hair and was wearing a plain white t-shirt, black jeans, and white framed sunglasses, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery
