A man was found dead Tuesday morning outside a Royal Oak condominium complex, according to a report.
ROYAL OAK, MI — A man was found dead Tuesday morning outside a Royal Oak condominium complex, according to a report from the Oakland Press, citing Royal Oak Police.
Police found the body in a grassy area outside the Tower Court Condominiums on the 4900 block of Crooks Rd, just north of 14 Mile Road, the report said.
Police believe the man, in his 40s, shot himself to death as officers found a handgun nearby, the report said.

"He was deceased upon our arrival," Royal Oak Police Lt. Albert Carter said. "It appeared to be from a self-inflicted gunshot wound."
Officers blocked southbound Crooks Road near 14 Mile while they were investigating.
