Royal Oak Police Main Number Is Down

There's no problem with the 911 emergency line.

Royal Oak, MI — The Royal Oak Police Department's non-emergency number, (248) 246-3500, is down, city officials said.

Calls made to the line are forwarded to the Madison Heights Police Department, but are answered by Royal Oak police.

There is no need to call the Madison Heights Police Department directly.

Police say there are no issues with 911 emergency lines.
