Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the county and recommended closures of public gathering places, Royal Oak Public Library Board of Trustees deemed it necessary to call an emergency meeting to address how library operations will proceed. Trustees felt an urgency to meet before the 18-hour notice to allow time to alert staff and the public of any decisions that were made at the meeting.
