Royal Oak Public Library Will Remain Open Until Further Notice
The library staff continues to maintain best practices in hygiene by cleaning and sanitizing surface areas, keyboards, and toys.

The Royal Oak Public Library is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Oakland County, and will remain open until further notice. The following programs have been cancelled at this time: Native Plants on March 12, Open Play on March 13, Read to Dogs on March 14, the Independent Film Series movie on March 14, and the Residential Stormwater Project on March 15. The library staff continues to maintain best practices in hygiene by cleaning and sanitizing surface areas, keyboards, and toys in the building. Patrons are encouraged to wash hands before and after entering the building, and to avoid touching eyes, noses, and mouths. Also, please do not come to the library if you are ill or concerned about potential exposure.
