Gavin Pohl has joined Farmington Hills-based J.R. Thompson Company (JRT), a creative marketing communications firm, as a Web developer. Prior to joining JRT, Pohl worked for Bloomfield Hills-based, Summit Sports, as a graphic/Web designer. Before Summit Sports, he was employed at Chrysler Group LLC headquarters as an interactive producer.
Pohl, a resident of Royal Oak, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in graphic design (with a focus on Web and interactive design) from Central Michigan University.
