Royal Oak resident Max Benoit will represent Michigan State University (MSU) in the NCAA Division 1 Track and Field championships on Friday, June 8.
Benoit, who qualified for the finals in the 3000 meter Steeplechase, was an All State cross country runner at Royal Oak High School ( Class of ‘13 ) Benoit holds the MSU record in the Steeplechase, a record he broke at the Eastern Track and Field Championships last month. The final men’s championship will begin at 8:00 pm on Friday. Check your cable provider for airtime and channel information.
