Royal Oak Schools Announce Superintendent Search Timeline
The Board of Ed. has started the selection process for a new superintendent to replace Shawn Lewis-Lakin, who announced his retirement.

From Royal Oak Schools: The Royal Oak Schools Board of Education has started the process of selecting a new superintendent to replace Shawn Lewis-Lakin, who announced his retirement effective June 30, 2017.
The Board is being assisted in its search by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), a service organization that supports the work of school boards throughout Michigan. Tom White is facilitating the search on behalf of MASB.
The School Board believes it is critical to have feedback from all constituents in the search for the next superintendent. “We want input from parents, employees and the community to assist us in selecting the right individual who will further our district commitment to be a Community of Excellence,” said Deb Anderson, School Board President.
