Madison Heights School Board Candidate Accused of Racist Facebook Comments

School officials say it's too late to take Wayne Reif off the ballot.

(Posted Nov. 3, 2016) Wayne Reif, a candidate for the Madison Heights school board in next week's election, has been publicly accused of making racist comments on Facebook, and at least one school official has called the posts alarming, but said it's too late to seek his removal from the ballot, WJBK-TV is reporting. The posts in question allegedly show Reif standing with four African-American boys with a questionable status update, and another seems to play on African-American stereotypes.
