It’s all due to the work of Department of Public Service volunteers Lee Collick, Jeff Derringer and Bryan Griffith, who turned the depressions in the parks into skateable rinks.
“It takes a great deal of time and effort to build up a solid base of ice, but they do it — and on their own time,” DPS Director Greg Rassel said in a news release.
