This is the final weekend for you to see the Sisters of the Brush show at the Lawrence Street Gallery. On Thursday and Friday the gallery will be open from 12 until 9. That’s eighteen hours; surely you can find a few minutes to stop by.
As a bonus that gallery is open from 12 to 5 on Saturday, but things get kind of messy with new work arriving and less new work going away. So try to get there on Thursday or Friday. You don’t want to miss the good stuff.
On Sunday we will be hanging the new show, EMBRACING: 40 YEARS OF ART AND FRIENDSHIP, which will feature the work of Nora Chapa Mendoza, Barbara Barefield, and Spencer Barefield IV for the month of June. The opening reception for that show will be June 6 from 6 to 9. Just a heads-up so you can put it on your calendar now.
