Thefts, Retail Fraud: Royal Oak Police

Royal Oak police also made ten arrests, including a 26-year-old Madison Heights woman in connection to felony warrant.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Royal Oak police released its latest arrest log Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Theft from Motor Vehicle

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a gym bag from their unlocked vehicle at the Royal Oak Gym at 1600 N. Stephenson Highway on Tuesday between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Thefts

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) stole two tablets from the Mathnasium located at 515 S. Washington Ave on Jan. 19 between 8:10 p.m. and 8:20 p.m.

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) stole petty cash from the office suite at Beaumont Hospital Medical Building at 3535 W. Thirteen Mile Rd on Jan 21. between 4:15 p.m. to 12:18 a.m.

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) took documents from the Campbell Urgent Care at 1010 N. Campbell Rd on Jan 12 between 8:40 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) ordered numerous drinks and food items and left without paying the $324 tab at the Mt. Chalet at 32955 Woodward Ave on Wednesday between 12:08 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Retail Fraud

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a bottle of liquor on three separate occasions at the Barrels and Vines at 31786 Woodward Ave. between Dec. 29 and Jan. 14.

A person reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a bottle of liquor from the counter at the G&S Market at 25852 Woodward Ave. on Jan. 21 at 3:39 p.m.

Felony Warrant and Narcotic Paraphernalia Arrest

On January 23, 2022, at approximately 3:25 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near Ten Mile Rd. and Woodward. The driver had a felony warrant from Michigan Department of Corrections for being a parole absconder. He had a small baggie in his pocket containing narcotic residue.

The 26-year-old Madison Heights resident was arrested for the felony warrant and narcotic
paraphernalia.

The following arrests were made during the period:

  • One felony warrant, misdemeanor warrant, and obstructing a police officer.
  • One felony warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • One felony warrant and driving while license suspended.
  • One Operating while intoxicated and carrying concealed weapon.
  • One disorderly conduct.
  • One assault and battery, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor warrant.
  • One disorderly conduct and misdemeanor warrant.
  • One operating while intoxicated.
  • Two felony warrant.
