What harm has come from Snowden's "leaks" of classified documents?
Has a military base been compromised? Have "enemies" gained useful intelligence? No, the only harm has been the embarrassing exposure of how much our own government is snooping on us. Exposing that information is proving irritating and embarrassing. But "traitorous?" Come on.
I'm happy that Putin tells us that Russia does not extradite individuals at the request of another nation. I'm pleased to learn that the whistleblower seems to be finding at least one year's refuge in the country.

Why would any sane person return when his home country has made it clear he would face life imprisonment or execution if he comes "home"?
I suppose this statement calls for disclosure: I'm a WWII, Bronze Star veteran who -- in other situations -- might be mistaken for a Tea Party Patriot.
