The candidate must demonstrate “social media DNA” and have extensive social media experience. This means that the person is actively participating in a wide variety of social media activities such as Twitter, Facebook, blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and is well-connected with the broader social media world.

Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working in an agency (or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of the ecosystem on various social media platforms, including: Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Foursquare, Instagram, etc.
- Experience with using social media tools: Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Sprout Social, etc.
- Excellent creative communication skills – oral and written (bilingual a plus – not necessary)
- Understanding of how to identify opportunities in user-generated content
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to communicate results
- Knowledge of search engine optimization, including basic keyword research
- Must have experience curating, growing and keeping engaged a social following for any type of client (pizza restaurant, law firm, recruiters, bankers, fashion, etc.)
- Branding skills a plus
