Video: Tequila Blue is Royal Oak's Newest Mexican Restaurant

Tequila Blue, at 526 S. Main St. above the 526 Main , opened its doors a few weeks ago and business has been brisk. Manager Josh Baker said the bar hits its capacity on weekends when DJs and dancing transform the Mexican restaurant in to a nightclub after 10 p.m.

The upscale cantina has a Mexican-inspired motif complete with stonework and a thatched roof cabana. The menu includes traditional Mexican classics such as tacos, burritos and chimichangas and well as signature dishes like Alambre de Camarones, Steak Tampiquena.

Prices for entrees range from $10-$26. There is also a $4 kids menu that includes chicken strips, hot dogs and mac and cheese among other things.

Tequila Blue is open daily from 4 p.m.-2  a.m. Dress code is anything goes.
