What's Open and Closed in Royal Oak for Independence Day?

City announces holiday schedule. Most government offices will be closed on July 3, but you'll still be able to do banking or mail a letter.

Royal Oak city offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Emergency, police and fire services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

Trash collection for the week of June 29 and July 6 will be on schedule. There will be o delay for the holiday. The SOCRRA Recycling Drop-Off Center, however, will be closed on July 4.

The Royal Oak Public Library will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.
