What's Open, What's Closed for Presidents Day 2016?
Monday is a state holiday. Many county and city offices — but not all — will be closed. Better call ahead before you head to the bank.
METRO DETROIT, MI – Many government offices and the post office will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents Day.
Among the offices that will be closed are county clerks and register of deeds offices and circuit courts in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Presidents Day is a state holiday.
Presidents Day is a national bank holiday, but your bank — especially large banks like wells Fargo, Chase, Bank of America and Citibank —may be open. Call ahead before you head out.
