Who's On Royal Oak's Nov. 3 City Election Ballot?
Four people, three of them incumbents on the Royal Oak City Commission, seek three seats. Mayor Jim Ellison is unopposed.

Royal Oak Mayor Jim Ellison is unopposed in his bid for a fourth term, and four people are seeking three seats on the City Commission.
Incumbent Commissioners Patricia Paruch, Kyle DuBuc and Michael Fournier are all seeking re-election to four-year terms. There’s one newcomer in the race, challenger Kim Gibbs, a Royal Oak attorney.

DuBuc and Fournier were both elected in 2011. Paruch, who was elected to the City Commission in 1979 and retired as its mayor in 1993, was appointed to fill the vacancy created when Peggy Goodwin stepped down last November.
Ellison told The Daily Tribune he planned to support the City Commission incumbents in Nov. 3 municipal elections.
