Winter Blast Returns To Royal Oak: Here's Everything You Need To Know
Winter Blast is returning to Downtown Royal Oak for three days in February 2024, organizers announced Tuesday.
ROYAL OAK, MI — Winter Blast is returning to downtown Royal Oak for three days in February 2024, organizers announced Tuesday.
The Winter Blast festivities will take place from Feb. 2-4, 2024 in downtown Royal Oak around the Rink at Royal Oak at Centennial Commons, located between Main and Troy streets and 11 Mile and 3rd Street.
There will be free ice skating at the rink and guest can rent ice skates for $6, or bring their own skates. Other activities include a zip line, ice sculptures, ice carving demonstrations, a food truck area, live music and a ski and snowboard experience from Mt. Brighton Ski Resort.

There will also be heated tents, warming zones and roasting stations throughout the area around the festival.
"Winter Blast Royal Oak is a cool rush of seasonal fun for the whole family, right in beautiful downtown Royal Oak, a destination for year-round activities, diverse dining and retail shops and entertaining events like this," Winter Blast producer Jon Witz said. "We invite metro Detroiters to mark their calendars now and then get out and take in all that Winter Blast has to offer."

The event will be open 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Admission will be free.
Organizers said more information will be released in early 2024.
