Woman, 18, Dies From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Oakland County Parking Garage: Report
Investigators believe her car's engine had a small crack in the manifold, causing the carbon monoxide leak.
ROYAL OAK, MI — An 18-year-old woman died from carbon monoxide poisoning while parked in a Royal Oak parking garage earlier this year, according to a Fox 2 Detroit report.
A manager from the restaurant where Aubrie Morgan worked found her dead inside her car on Jan. 14, according to the report.
Investigators believe the car's engine had a small crack in the manifold, causing the carbon monoxide leak.

Morgan, who graduated high school last summer, was enrolled in cosmetology school.
"She had a real big passion for cosmetology, which is when she decided to go to cosmetology school," her mother told the news station.

Morgan's mother is also raising awareness about carbon monoxide poisoning.
"I want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anybody, because as a parent it’s your absolute worst nightmare," she said.
