Woman Fatally Shot At Ferndale Car Dealership: State Police
A suspect is in custody after the shooting at Legend Motors in Royal Oak Charter Township, authorities said.
ROYAL OAK CHARTER TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman is dead following a Saturday morning shooting at a Royal Oak Charter Township car dealership, authorities said.
According to Michigan State Police, troopers were called Legend Motors of Ferndale, located near Eight Mile Road and Wyoming Avenue, around 8:40 a.m. When troopers arrived, they found a woman who had been fatally shot.
In a news release, police called the shooting a "domestic homicide" and said a suspect was in custody. There is no ongoing threat to the public, police said.
