• Michigan high school boys golf rankings: New leader in the D1 clubhouse (mlive.com) — Saline High School’s boys golf team is currently ranked sixth in Michigan’s Division 1, putting local golfers in the statewide spotlight. The latest coaches’ poll also reshuffles the top spots, with Brighton overtaking Detroit Catholic Central and several other schools moving within the top 10 across all divisions.    

• Vendla Josephson (wlen.com) — Longtime former Saline resident Vendla “Nan” Josephson, who once worked at Sensors in Saline and volunteered for years at the Saline Hospital, has passed away at age 92. Her family remembers her love of helping others, traveling, card games, and time with her children and grandchildren; a celebration of life will be held later in Munising.
