• Fire near OpenAI data center project near Saline was controlled burn, officials say (mlive.com) — If you saw heavy smoke near the data center site in Saline Township on Wednesday morning, officials say it was a planned controlled burn on a nearby farm, not an emergency. Saline and Manchester fire crews responded and quickly managed the situation while construction on Related Digital’s large data center campus along West Michigan Avenue continued as normal.    

• Check out Michigan high school girls soccer rankings for April 20 (battlecreekenquirer.com) — Saline High School’s girls soccer team is ranked No. 6 in Michigan’s Division 1 in the latest coaches’ poll, keeping the Hornets firmly among the state’s elite programs.
