• 90th Saline Community Fair to be Celebrated in 2026 (thesalinepost.com) — Saline's 90th Community Fair is coming up Sept. 2–6 at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds on Ann Arbor-Saline Road, with rides continuing Sept. 7. Organizers highlight nine decades of Saline-area agricultural traditions, school involvement, and community partnerships, plus newer attractions like tractor pulls, Taste of Agriculture, and Saline Schools Day. Expect five days of family-friendly entertainment and exhibits.
   

• World Champions! U.S. Wins Gold at 2026 Girls U17 World Championship (usavolleyball.org) — A U.S. Girls U17 volleyball player from Saline, setter Kaelyn Easton, helped Team USA sweep every set on the way to a gold medal at the 2026 World Championship in Chile. The squad went 9–0, dominating Türkiye in the final and collecting multiple individual awards, giving Saline a direct connection to a world title.
